Well I was woke up this morning to a 4.5 magnitude earthquake. In the middle of freakin Oklahoma. The epicenter was just 3 miles below the earth and was felt from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Dallas, Texas.

No kidding...Shook my house for a solid 20-30 seconds. I've felt several this year, but they were just a *BOOOOMshake* and done.

This one was *BOOOOOOOMshakeshakeshakeshake...* For quite a while. All my windows and doors were rattling like a mofo.

During my 7 or so yrs I have never felt an earthquake in Oklahoma. I was freaked out every time the tornado alerts would go off. Having lived in the So Cal areas my whole life earthquakes are another run of the mill.

Surprising that you guys got one.

We've been particularly active this year. I've felt at least a half-dozen at my house. But they're usually just a bump or two. This one shook my house for quite a while and was the strongest I've felt since moving back here. I lived in southern California for 10 years or so...Was in a 7.4 (might have been a 7.2, I can't remember) back in '92 when I was in the vicinity of Joshua Tree. That.Was.INSANE. It was like being really drunk and trying to skateboard. I could barely stand up.
