Rear "spoiler" Bolts

I'm at wits end here. Short version of it is that i had taken off the stock tailgate cap, the plastic "spoiler" as it's referred to as on many part websites. I had intended on putting a tonneau cover on the truck but after changing my mind and just having the bed line-x'd i wanted to put the stock "spoiler" back on the truck. Problem is I can't find the bolts that were used and i for the life of me cannot find the part number for the bolts to put back in anywhere.

If anyone has any ideas, thoughts, part numbers or where i could order them, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

OK, on my old 06 GMC Sierra it had just the regular tailgate "cap". Just the shape of the top and wraps over it, nothing fancy. But on the Silverado's, the cap is more like a "spoiler". I believe you are talking about the one that goes on the Silverado, but I want to make sure first before answering your question. By looking at your info in the left column, it shows a 2007 GMC Sierra.

Thanks guys. I actually emailed the dealer thats about 5 minutes from me this morning, something tells me i'm gonna have to stop down there in an hour or two and explain to them what it is. I had the flat tailgate cap on there, have for a while, but it never quite stuck on right, and it just looks like crap right now. I'm not totally sure how reliable this dealer is going to be, but we will see.

3maninblack3----both the new body style silverados and the sierras both have the "spoiler" for the cap on the tailgates from the factory. it is those bolts that hold it on, so yes...in essence we are talking about the same thing.

That's not bad. I bought four of those bolts a couple of years ago, as I was going to put one of the "spoiler" covers from an 06 silvy onto my 06 sierra. Paid just over $20 for the 4. Didn't have the retainer nuts on my tailgate and never got around to it. Have the 10 Silvy now and don't need the bolts/screws. Was gonna send them to ya. Glad you got it taken care of.
