First I want to share the before (dirty) truck...5.3/4-speed/2.25" Readylift leveling kit

Now (still dirty) with 6" BDS HC lift, 20" XD Monsters (+18mm offset), 35x12.5 Toyo's, Yukon 4.88's (front/rear) and Detroit Truetrac. Minimal rubbing. Tighter turn radius. Ride is almost identical to stock. Performance (off the line/straight line/throttle response)has improved, but MPG's are down. And now I'm looking into a BB tune to make sure everything comes together just right. Also I had a CAI and exhaust so a little tweaking will make this beast come to life. I appreciate all the input and am very happy with the end result. I can give more details for anyone who's looking into a similar setup. It pays to do your research before spending your hard earned $.

 

A good thing about lifted trucks is that when you hit a deer you only have to knock out some dents and at some point adjust the slightly bent right tow hook(see pics). So now I'm looking into a fabfour bumper.

No I actually bought them used...jk. But I did venture out today after a good 2 days of raining. And the ground here is made up mostly of a reddish clay type mud type dirt?! so that crap sticks to fresh rubber. And you know Brad, they are labeled Mud-Terrains for a reason. Less tire shine, more mud!!!

Yes, only reason being is that the tires rub on somewhat tight turns or trying to back up in a tight area (like my apt parking lot). Full turning radius is still present just an annoying clack clack clack. I had the front of the wheel liner trimmed but can't do anything to the rear since that's where the liner is fastened to the body. Any suggestions?

I struck the corner of the rear fender with a hammer and bent it back a little with mine. Some cut metal but the hammer strikes worked for me.
