So I just got a 2010 1500 ls CC Silverado 4x4. i feel like i did pretty good with all the rebates and things. Just trying to see what anyone else was giving for their new trucks.

Also my brother just bought a 2010 ls ext cab silvy 4x4 for $16000 in Indiana. Which I think is great but i couldnt get that kind of deal.

That's what I said too, but I saw the paperwork. Some huge discount for his union.

$16000 for a NEW 2010 Ext Cab...? Sorry Charlie,I don't think so.

Maybe it was a work truck. They might have had some left over or cancelled fleet truck orders.

If that's true, it's the same as saying that the rest of us buyers are subsidizing his union's truck purchases. I sure hope not...

X2 Dealer here had a 2010 Silverado 4x4 for just under 16k. But it was a bare bones WT

probably the case. couldnt even come close to an equivelent deal on a crew cab. said best they could do was 27500 on an LS with a towing package. i did better than that here.

Unless your comparing two exact same optioned vehicles there is no way to see if your getting a good deal. They must be an apples to apples comparison. One extra option or package can and will change the price.

I got my SLE Texas Ed for $27 last month, with a sticker of $41 after all the dealer add ons, ($38 msrp from GMC)

That sounds like a Really good deal. Is it a 4x4?

My Crew LS (only option was rear defrost) was stickered at 34,600 and I got it for 26,500 with paint and interior protection. I felt good about it, and still do.

Nah, 2wd. I've had a 4x4 for the last 9 years and used it like 4-5 times. Figured I'd save some gas for the next few years. But it has quite a few options.

I built a 2011 Silverado the other night. It was exactly like mine only it had the Bose System, 6.2, and 6 spd tranny, and the sticker price was a grand below what mine was when I got it. Talk about depressing...
