Fog Light Bulb

Hey, my fog light went out on me yesterday, and I went to get another one and there is no number on it. I called a dealer and they will not give me the number and want $33.00 for the bulb. Can someone help, with something other then a GM part number. It is for a 2008 Silverado

Yup 5202 is it. Some dealers are like that because not everyone has these bulbs in stock yet. you can def find it cheaper, may only be $5 cheaper but its cheaper they are def way too expensive

Thanks for all the help. I found 2 LED replacements on Ebay for $50. Has anyone had any experience with these. I think I would prefer to buy two of these then buy one of the regular bulbs for $25 to $30.

Is there ever going to be Silver Star fog lamps bulbs for the 2007 & up trucks. I have Silver Star bulbs and I like how they look, I would like to match them up with Silver Star Fog Lamp bulbs.

I looked into the LED fogs but from what I gathered the light output would be useless, even more so than the stock bulb. I'd stick with the stock bulb, or pony up for HID if you want more output.

I would rather stick with Silver Star bulbs than switch to H.I.Ds, but my fogs don't match up with my low beam headlights.

The generic LED bulbs are no good as their light output is horrible. They are making LED driving lights that would replace the whole housing (not a direct replacement) but these cost hundreds of dollars each. Those have very impressive output from what I've seen online.

5202 is commonly referred to as an h16 bulb by the way
