Hi all, just wanted to check to be sure. I'm looking at getting 245/75-17 winter tires for my truck, mostly because they are 40/wheel cheaper than the size which I currently have which is 265/70-17. The diameters of these wheels are almost identical, so I'm not worried about speedo inaccuracy. Mostly just curious if the 245 width will still be ok on the stock wheels I have (in my sig picture) and if it's ok to run without the TPMS sensors if I get a set of steel wheels for it?

You can do both, but without the TPMS you'll have an alert on your dash all the time. There's no way to get rid if it. I'd suggest picking up another set of TPMS's for the second set of rims. They are cheap and can be found all over Ebay and other websites.
