Door Actuator Issue

Hello all, I love my truck. But I think this may be my last new one. I am concerned about some simple issues GM just seem to lack on. Now all the door actuators have been replaced on my truck! They all went out due to soleniod issues. Replaced under warranty. The problem is that the dome light will not work when two of the doors are opened. This is a safety issue I feel. At night i cant see in my truck if go back to get something out of it. My dealer says its cause GM uses a different style actuator now. I paid too much for my truck for simple stuff not to work. I need some advice on how to handle this.

Mine have been replaced too but my lights still work. Your dealer may be feeding you a line of bull. Ask him if a 2011 new on the lot for sale has only 2 of the 4 doors that will actuate the light. I would also possibly call another dealer.

On my 01 which is a lot older, all the doors make the lights come on. I can't imagine they would downgrade.
