Maximum Size Tires

Would I be able to run a 305/65/17 tire on my 2005 Crew Cab with the levelling kit? I'm running 285/70/17 now but saw some of the new GMT900 on a dealer lot with the 305 BFGs installed (along with a levelling kit). Wheel size is 17X8.

305's should fit with a crank and some trimming on your 800, Plenty of trucks at our dealership over the years have went out with 305 mud terrains on stock 17s with no reported problems. Though I personally like the look of the 285s better.
