Rear Door Locks Wont Lock

On my 04 chevy 2500 crew cab my rear doorlock dont lock, they will unlock but not lock with either lock botton in the truck or on the key fob. I tried replaceing the relay in the fuse box but that did not work..then all of a sudden they worked for about 3 clicks out of the blue one day. I find it hard to beleive that both actuaters would die at the same time never the less if they both did die at the same time they both wouldnt speraticly work both at the same time,,so i dont think thats the case.. Does any one else have any ideas?Thanks

I experienced the same failure modality. The discovery that the rear doors won't work. Then, a couple years later, they magically work again. Then, for no apparent reason, they fail again.
