Tie Rod Change

hey guyz,

 

I am trying to replace my inner and outer tie rods on my 95'. Here is the thing, i am trying to take the driver side outer tie rod nut off. After i broke the nut loose, the ball started spinning which is not allowing me to loosen the nut anymore, just spins. Any thoughts on how to fix?

got the nut off, i placed a jack under the tie rod and jacked it up to cause the ball to stop moving. New problem, i cant unscrew the tie rod from the sleeve. i have been spraying pb blaster on it for about 45 min and still nothing. what should i do?

Heat that sucker. Throw some fire on it to see if it will give.

 

Mine were so corroded that I ended up replacing the inners and outers and added new sleeves. Just seemed easier that way.

i have been thinking about doing that. problem is i cant get the inner tie rod out on both sides. this is my first full size and idk if the tie rod sleeve is as long as the one i have(4" lift kit). thats why i havnt done it yet. i have a pickle-fork but it isnt working. thanks for the input, i might try that but i need to get the inners out.
