Head Unit

Hello All!

I have a 2007 Sliverado Classic that I am upgrading for more comfort during a long commute and I need some help please.

I have a Delco Bose 6-CD Cassette Head Unit Model 15169583 that I would like to install in my truck. I had the basic AM/FM Base system. I am also adding the Bose Amp and Sub.

I cannot seem to get a pin-out or wire color code for the head unit. It was manufactured 8/22/02 and evidently rare, for the Trailblazer, Envoy or Ranier bodies.

The 24 pin socket it not a match for my amp's wire harness, but it is for the truck; however I get no sound and AMP NEEDED on the radio display.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Cheers,

Ron

Thanks Matt!

That's as close as I have got to the answer yet. I was told by the guy that sold me the radio , I could get a wiring scheme by looking up the model of the radio, but I found nothing on Google. Does GM or Delco publish a cross reference as to what radios were offered in what vehicles? The vehicle seems to be the only way to find wiring.

Cheers,

Ron
