So i'm sort of into border wars and caught the commerical for wild justice, decided to watch it. Over all after watching two episodes i like it. I think its pretty damn sad how out of control poaching is, specially the junkys that poach to feed their adictions to drugs. For those people that ignore the drug problems in america they need to wake up to the fact that the problem is even begining to effect natural resources and even hunting/fish.....overall a good show, anybody else think it was funny when the ranger found the car flipped over in the park and wasent at all shocked it was flipped over like the hulk just made love to it

The show is great. I live and hunt/fish in all the areas that the show has been filmed... I can tell you that it is very true and sad that the pot grows are taking over on CA public land. I have stumbled into a few and even crossed paths with the garden tenders, which is certainly a scary experience. Luckily I have always been armed as well deer hunting and had other hunters nearby. I'm glad the show is bringing attention to the huge problem.

The show is interesting I caught a few episodes but i didnt see much going on besides busting pot grows. I am not a marijuana user but I also could care less about its legality or lack thereof.

I wish I would see them do more regarding poaching and black market trade rather than just drug busts. I am not a big fan of cops and when they focus too much on drug busts I just smell bacon and it turns me off of the show.

I don't smoke pot, but personally think it should be legal. BUT, these growers are damaging our natural resources. Thats why regardless of your stance, you should care. Also, sorry you've had a few run ins with law enforcement in which you sound to have been caught committing an infraction(s).

I have been harrassed by cops plenty of times nothing noteable on my record. My problem isnt with laws its the way they are enforced and the attitude of MOST cops (not all cops). Their priorities are another thing that erks me and above all its their hypocrisy. They can break the law, get in fights, run red lights, drink and drive, etc etc with no consequence.

i've never had a ticket in my life or been arrested, some cops are dicks buut the majority of them are are average joes like you and i..the ones that get caught up in the thin blue line are the ones that look down on none law men, i have no problems with law enforcement officers and hope to be one someday....as far as drugs, if i had a country with a drug problem i would be putting bullets in all of those dealers and trying to help the addicts...addicts are inocent people that got suckered into that lifestyle and can't get out

Wrong! Addict made a conscious decision to use illegal drugs. Its not like someone snuck into their room at night while they were sleeping and shot them up with heroin.

I agree that people turn to it to get away from problems, but they aren't "suckered" into using them. EVERYONE knows what drugs are, what their effects are, and what their consequences are. The decision to use IS a conscious decision, therefore they dig their own hole the first time they use them. They might be around it all the time due to environment and lifestyle, but that is where free will comes in to play. People who grow up around it have to decide to rise above drug use and make something of themselves rather than be a leech on society. The only way a person is innocent that is on drugs is if they were coerced into using them and THEN get hooked.... but that is rare enough not to worry about. Drug users are shit. They steal from anyone to feed their addiction, do anything to get their drugs, and don't give a shit who they hurt along the way. If you have a shred of sympathy for any of them you need to reassess your situation. If they decide to get help then good for them. They're on their way back to becoming a productive citizen and I am all for it. Now understand that I am talking about the hard drugs like heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, etc. which are the most damaging. For example, most pot-heads just do it to have fun and don't hurt anyone along the way. And dealers/growers are another story. They are the lowest form of bottom feeding scum on the earth, but that is for another day.

Theres nothing wrong with wanting to become a police officer but I will tell you I have seen several times myself. Very cool people and close friends of mine become police officers, and as time progresses, they turn into dicks. I dont blame them but just as with the drug addicts you are a product of your environment. Its almost like a brainwashing in some circumstances.

Avoid the stereotypical cop bullshit.

Dont be that guy that is a tough guy now that he has a badge and has to take it out on people because of how he was treated in the past.

Be fair, its so important to realize that just because someone has done something illegal doesnt automatically mean they need to be punished. This is really where it comes down to whether your a dick cop or not. Its called using your enforcement capabilities JUDICIOUSLY! There are plenty of laws that exist for a mere technicality, the kind of laws that are there that shouldnt always be enforced, but do exist in the instance that action need be taken.

For a quick example off the top of my head woudl be something like an open container law. Does it always need to be enforced no, but it should be in place in order to have a law to act against if someone were abusing your leniancy. So many laws are like that, the difference in a good cop and a total dick and also likely hypocrit cop is one who busts anyone anytime he gets a chance, vs those who use their power judiciously to decide whether its necessary to make a bust or not.

I mean really the reason for police enforcement goes back to keeping people safe and protecting the community... Its not about enforcing every law down to the letter just because its written on a piece of paper somewhere and you now have the authority to do so.

Wrong again! I am a full-time Police officer and a Conservation officer. Certified Paramedic since 1990.
