Interior Lights

Recommended Posts

The interior lights on my 07' gmc sierra classic (Work Truck...IE: no power locks or windows) do not come on when the door is opened. You can turn them on with the interior switch but not by opening the door. They started out as intermittently not coming on, opening and closing the door would bring them on. But that's not working now.

First, cant find the CRTSY fuse.

Second, can't see an interior light switch on the door jamb.

Anything else I should be looking at?

I saw this on a truck my parents had recently as well, I'm thinking it might be a common problem???? Help.

Thanks.

Make sure the dome light over ride button isn't pushed. The door switch is part of the door latch assembly. Need a scan tool to check operation.

I'll do that.

Hey I like your glove box mod.

BTW I'm a member of the Red Truck Club also, but I don't have a RAT under the hood. Unfortunately.
