I'm in Canada FYI and the discounts are around 10k with the holiday bonus and all. Would you buy now or do you think it will improve in January? Seems to me they will only be more desperate in January?

Personally don't see them getting better,.... They are pretty good and with the current interest rates, as good as they are, I don't know that I'd wait too long.

They might get better- if gas prices continue to climb, truck sales will start hurting. Last time gas was $3.00+ gallon in the US that's what happened (I realize you folks have been paying over that for ages now of course). Also, once Ford gets the 2011 F-150 to it's dealers, GM may need to offer incentives to get people in the door. Not saying the Ford will be/is better, but lots of people will buy the Ford just cause it's the newest thing out there. I'm looking to buy this summer and I'm hoping the incentives stay good.

I just put my down payment on a new 2011 today so that the dealership would go pick it up. Truck stickered for 41,000 and I bought for 30,000. Also as of today, chevy announced another 3000 in discounts if you finance through Alli or Allied, not sure but I took it.

That's a very good point! If the deals get better they'll give you those, but if they decrease you'll still get the current deals.
