Oem Sub For 09 2500hd

Hey, Guys! GM states that the 09 2500hd with bose system could be ordered with a total of seven speakers, I bought this truck used I love it but was wondering if I could order the sub and where it's stock location is , and how hard would it be to install. I've checked all the GM parts sources and can't find any listing for the sub Help!

Hey Dave,

I have a Sierra Denali 2010 which I believe is the same interior that you are working with. I just replaced my Bose 'sub' with a JL stealthbox and 250.1 JL amp. It was wired right into the previous Bose sub feed as it was enough of a signal to drive the amp. The key is to not have the rear air vents on the back to the center console. The stealthbox can be installed with those air ducts in the way. I have the amp place on the rear wall behind the rear folding bench (totally hidden) and the stealthbox installed under the center console. The only piece you see something is in the center console on the side where I had them mount the JL sub tuning nob for more or less base. I was really reluctant to install a sub (or have it done professionally) from all of the posts I have read, but it is outstanding. I'm really impressed and it has a nice base end to the Bose set up. So you hooked the speaker wire for the stock sub to the high level input on the amp? No need for any audio interface adapter? I have been thinking of doing the same.
