Power Extend Mirrors (accordian Style)

I got a set of power extend signal towing mirrors. Problem is the wiring off my truck is no where close. My truck is a 2001 2500hd. Could i get these to work? Whats involved.

also...These mirrors are OEM GM mirrors

If you have a part # you should be able to find out what they fit and then go from there. I think they were intended for 99up but doesn't mean the wiring is there. They were developed in the after market and GM decided to use them. By mid 2000 GM had there own non-powered extendable mirrors without the signals.
