Where To Keep Loose Change?

Hello,

I just got a '10 Silverado Hybrid 1HT and can't find a great place for loose change. Am I missing a great spot?

I put it in the center console - but since it swivels up and down to allow a front middle passenger the change just goes everywhere. Has anyone found a good spot for change in these Fullsize Trucks?

I put mine in a cup thats in the cup holder in the door.

Line that "ash tray" with some thin foam so the money won't rattle.

I got one similar to this one. The one I have doesn't have the slot for pennies, so I just remove the lid and put the pennies in the bottom part of the cup. While it will fit into the cup holders, I have mine in the center console, with a piece of velcro on the bottom of it so that it sticks to the console liner. I flip the console up frequently and have had no problems with it moving around or coming apart.

I found a small change holder at Walmart, I think, that fits in that small rectangular space inside the arm rest. It's wedged in there pretty tight so it doesn't move around. GM makes a change holder for the empty spot to the left of the rectangular space, but when I last checked at the dealer, they wanted $40+ for it. Typical dealer rip-off price.

I found a small pouch with a wire rim to hold it open that hooks onto one of the vents in the dash. Will hold a couple dollars worth of change. The soft side lets it collapse at the bottom to keep it from rattling around or bouncing out when I hit a bump.

It looks like one of those sunglass holders, but shorter. It will fit an EZ pass in it and be level with the top. Got it at pep boys auto one day. Cost about $5.

I have a pill bottle with a screw on top about the size of a 12oz soda can. I keep my car wash quarters in it in the drivers door panel. I dont know if all the trucks are the same but my 08 Sierra extended cab SLE has a spot to hold a can/bottle in the door panels on both front doors.
