Ordered New 2500hd And May Loose My Job Before It Gets Here

Boss is cutting hours and laying people off, my truck will be here in a few weeks I already have my down payment and my trade ready t go, this really sucks. My family has dealt with this dealer for years he ordered it with nothing down.

Most dealers won't hold you to the order unless you ordered something goofy. I'd certainly do what needs done to take care of the family.

Especially if your family deals with the dealer for years man...I'm sure they will look after you if you explain whats going down. If they make you buy a truck, and you cant make the payments and ruin your credit than they lost your business forever...or at least for a good few years...I'm sure they would rather have you come back in at the end of the year when things are financially better than lose you as a customer.

no I didn't put anything down on it, I'm just hoping the company gets that 2.5 million $ contract that I'm a team product specialist on.

That needs to happen so I know I'm safe.

you can always buy a truck, but you only have one family. your dealer will understand, especially since you dealt with them for a long time. just explain the situation. and any decent human will understand.

Good luck and prayers to ya. One of my buddy's just lost his job he's had for the last 8 years. He only got 2 days notice. He was looking to buy a house so lucky for him he hadn't found one yet. Hang in there.

my 26' boat and my WS6 convertible are paid for and I only owe about 30% of the homes value, I don't abuse credit cards either. Been their done that one before LOL. I try to put 30-40% down so my truck payments are always comfortable. Got my fingers crossed that we get that contract

Well it looks like we got at least 30k a month contract instead of the 50k we were counting on but that's enough to bring back guys we gave partial lay offs too. Even I have been hit a little working only 72hr bi weekly ,few have been laid off for the rest of this first quarter and a few had 2 weeks off. The contract don't start till March so it looks like I can still get my truck although i might keep a years worth of truck payments in the savings account just in case.

my dealer built and ordered me 2 trucks an SLT Crew and a SLE Crew both Midnight blue,18"forged/terrain tires, leather, plow pack,remote start and a few goodies. he said as long I choose one he's ok
