Drivers Power Seat Won't Move Constant

Here's an issue I'm trying to figure out. Power Seats:

 

On the drivers seat, when I push the button back the seat will only move about an inch and stop. I have to keep releasing the button and re-pushing it to keep the seat inching to where I want it to go. Same thing going forward.

 

The seat back control works normally as does the lumbar adjustments.

The memory settinings ( 1 and 2 ) work normally with no interruptions in movement.

 

The seat will not continue to move as long as I'm holding the button. Very annoying to have to inch by inch move the seat.

 

Anybody have an idea what this issue is?

Normally I'd agree but the amount the seat travels before it stops is very precise. I'd say it's very similar to pressing the tab key in a document. Is there a control module or something in-between the switch and the seat motor?
