High Trans Temp @ Idle

Now its slowly coming down, but it doesn't sound like the fans on. Is 190 * too hot sitting in 28*?

Mine does the same thing. And its re-manufactured unit with less than 5k miles.

The whole 13 hrs went 100* to 190* and back down every 45 min or so. Do these trucks have a trans cooler?

They for sure have a cooler in the radiator. You may have an auxiliary cooler in front of the rad. Dead center, 2 lines drop out the bottom
