i am looking to buy new wheels. my stock ones are 17x7.5 . i want to go with 17x8.5 dick cepek torque. should i keep the stock offset or go with another one

you'll want something in the + range like a +18 or something around there

If you look thru that thread theres a pic as you scroll down that will show you a shot ride down the side of the truck of 0 offset. They stick out probably about an inch, not enough to get you in trouble really.. BUT if you want them more flush, go with +18, they will literally be tucked in another 18mm.

You need atleast 4" of lift run the 33s or a 2" leveling kit to run the 285s. In order to properly run the 285s w.0 rubbing i would stick with +18
