Looking for some first hand experience with both or either of these tires.

I am torn between the two as I can use either of them with the setup that I have planned.

Please just chime in with any information you have specifically about these tires.

thanks

I just took off Cooper Zeon LTZ tires on my 1500 and the truck I had before this one had the Nitto Terra Grapplers. I had no complaints on either one. They are very competitive when comparing each tire. I only put about 15000 miles on my coopers so I cant comment on wear. I did about 35000 on the Nitto. I would say get what you can get a better price on. They are very similar. Some will say one looks better than the other. I personally felt the Cooper had a more unique look. I also thought the Nitto was not as loud. Neither is loud at all they are AT tires.

I have read mixed reviews on the coopers and not to great in the snow.

is the terra any better in snow or are they about the same?

I have had both tires. I thought the Cooper was great in the snow. I also felt that when you went out after the snow was cleaned so you were dealing with the icy mess thats left behind they did excellent. If your talking deep unplowed snow I think they are both ok there. The one AT tire that I have experienced that did better than both was the G.Y. Duratrac. We just put them on a f250 plow truck and they are insanely good in the snow.

I currently have the cooper zeon ltz's and had no problems in the snow at all with them here in Canada. I like the uniqueness of them since you rarely see anyone else on the road running them. I prefer the tread pattern of the coopers compared to the nitto's but just my .02

Love my Coopers and love the look. Friend has Terra Grapplers and they look good but not as distinguishable, if that is even a word or makes sense

I had a set of Terra Grapplers on my old Avalanche. They had plenty of traction without sacrificing good road characteristics. They were smooth and fairly quiet. I was a little dissapointed in the tread wear though. They seemed to wear alot faster than anticipated.

No experience with the coopers...

Okay im in the same boat. Cooper Zeon vs Nitto Grapplers. The only thing i dont know yet is size. I have 275/55/20 on it right now which is how it came from the dealer. Is there a size i can go up to without having to get a lift?

I'm running the Coopers 305/40/22. They're pretty damn good tires. In my opinion the tread pattern is sexier than the nitto, and the sidewall is no contest. The coopers just look GOOD.

They handle pretty good in bad weather. Good siping on the tread. A little bit loud, but they are one of the most aggresive A/T's.
