jefffoxsr Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 2004 Yukon. 64,000 miles. Dealer says they should be cleaned every 25,000 miles. That has to be wrong. Also the owners manual doesn't even list cleaning of fuel injectors in the mileage breakdown of what service to do. This Yukon has NO driveablility symptoms? At what mileage should fuel injectors be cleaned? Thanks.
vettelovralexand Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 If you aren't having any issues, I wouldn't worry about it. If you use a good top tier gas, they are likely pretty clean. I personally run some chevron through mine every now and again, but even that is probably just for my peace of mind. IMO your dealer is just trying to make money.
jro909 Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 i run a bottle of gm fuel system cleaner about every 3rd oil change and use top tier gas...had them power cleaned at the dealer and noticed nothing but a lighter wallet
