2003 Cigarette/acc Plug Won't Power On

I have a 2003 Silverado and it has two cigarette/acc plugs. The one nearest to the passanger side went out earlier this evening.

I had plugged into it a dash heater, I was testing the heater (brand new). It ran for a few minutes and then it cut out. This heater has an inline fuse but that did not pop.

I tried plugging my radar detector into that socket and nothing. However if I use the cigarette/acc plug on the drivers side it still works.

I checked my fuses on the drivers side and I can't find anything for the cigarette plug fuse. Where is it located? Or is there a fuseable link that I can't see that may be popped?

If I knew how to remove my lower dash I would have done that already but this is annoying enough as it is.

I should also mention that tried a test light on the plug and got nothing.

Fuse is in the fuse box under the hood. Just look in your Owners Manual.

BIG THANKS to you! That was it.

I thought I was going crazy and I got stuck on the first page of the fuses last night swearing up and down that something was wrong.

Thanks again for the pointer!
