Ok guys, i'm looking for suggestions on tire/rim sizes for my new truck. It will have a 2" level kit and 3" body kit on it. Id like to go with a 20x9 wheel. Any suggestions for a good tire size and rim offset for that?

+18 offset / 305/55/20.

This has been covered numerous times. You could probably read through the first couple of pages in this section and find good info. Also give the search feature a try. It's not the most friendly thing, but try using different phrases and key words and you will find tons of good info. :uhoh:

hey junior, i've been here a bit longer than you, just had a simple question to ask, why dont you run inside and find something else to beat besides that horse

definitely 305/55/20s or 33x12.5x20s its the perfect size for that setup. +18 is a good offset.. wheels will still sit in and tires will be fairly flush wit the side.. If you want the tires to poke out u could go to +0... I dont think that will rub.

hey thanks, i found the ones i think you were talking about. I understand what offset is, but i don't know what offset i need for different width wheels. These Helo's are a 20x10 and have a -12 offset, that sound right?

A 20x10 with -12 offset is a 5'' backspace

maybe im being dense here, thank you for the help. so the helo wheels in a 20x10 and a -12 backspace would put the tire sticking out about an inch further than a 20x10 with a +18 offset? I'm sorry for the questions, it's just not clicking here! lol ..... in my limited searching i havent even found a +18 offset in the rimsize i'm looking for, they all seem to be -12 to -21 or so.

negative offset will push the wheel farther out and positive offset will pull the wheel farther in.

yes i get that! ... y are most of the wheels i'm looking at it a 20x9 or 20x10 have a offset from -1 to -21?!?! I havent even found a set i liked yet where i looked at the specs and they had a positive offset.

EDIT

FINALLY i found some, here's the specs

20x9 5 3/4 +18 6-5.5 33.4mm A89-9865 106.1mm* 2200 35

positive offset wheels are out there. you just have to find them. I know most of the KMC XD series wheels are offered in both -12 and +18.
