Gauge Cluster

I have a 05 Yukon XL, 6.0 4x4 with close 130k on it and over the last 6 months or so my gauges have been acting up. 1st it was my speedo that started to read faster and faster, not returning to 0 when stopped. Then the 4x4 would engage randomly from a stop. The speedo is working right now, did not do anything to repair it, but now the oil pressure gauge is maxed out and the volt gauge is barely reading 9v.

Welcome to the site. Sorry about your troubles. You basically have 2 options. You can repair it yourself with new stepper motors which are cheap, but you need to know how to sauder. The other option is buy a new one off ebay for $260 or less and make sure you have your mileage and hour meter updated. Most places on ebay selling new will program them prior to shipping. If you go that route, you can even pick up the trans temp gauge for free.

Look for SS clusters or Escalade clusters in the same model year as yours.
