Fan Speed Dial

My Buddy has an 06 Silverado. His fan speeds 1-4 stopped working, 5 (high) is the only speed that works.

Can you guys help me diagnose this?

Sounds like the resistor has gone bad. It will need to be changed and the plug usually gets changed at the same time. I'll try to post a link to some info on how to.

 

It's in the box above the passengers feet....
