My bad day: Resolved

Well, the situation I talked about (seen here: http://www.gm-trucks.com/cgi-bin....t=12862 ) has been resolved and taken care of.  The DM took no sides in the matter, and understood that I a) didn't understand the proper protocol for calling out sick becuase I am relatively new and b) was not in the best state of body or mind to think out the best logical protocol.   He also understood her side of being called on her day off with no notice and having to drop what she was doing and come in and work for 6 hours.  I also mentioned to the DM about how I felt the tone of her phone call unprofessional and unnecessary, and how she doesn't know me well enough to pass judgement on just "how sick I was"  He agreed and said he'd talk to her about that.

I offered to work one of her shifts to make up for it for her.   She accepted.

So, for now, all is well.  We'll see how it goes from here on out.

I'm still gonna work on my business so I can be self employed and not have to deal with any of this 'being an employee' BS any more.  I don't want to have to answer to anyone else but myself.

Thanks to all of those who expressed concern & underdstanding to my situation.  As soon as I get good medical insurance I am going to go see a doctor about my stomach problems.
