Steering wheel controls will still work but you have to install the correct control interface module to keep steering wheel controls, OnStar, door chimes, etc.

Depending on what you have you would need to install a Onstar Adapter, and Steering Wheel Adapter and a Relay to keep the Blinker Sound. What brand aftermarket radio? I could look it up and let you know which adapter.
