Do you have a rad-cover installed ?

I turn off the temperature display in the winter time due to the rad-cover.

It's your snow plow that does that. Happens everytime I have my plow on. Sometimes the plow even throws off my compass.

Mine will do that temporarily if my truck is sitting in one place too long idling but once I start to move it's back to normal within a couple of minutes.

It's your plow.....drop it lower if you can, you'll see it change. I know mine read 135 degrees one day during a snow storm...

your right I took the plow off and its fine now, but I got the plow pack you would think they relocated the sensor just for them

Not an expert, but I believe the plow creates a vacuum under the truck, and actually "reverses" the air flow in the engine compartment, so the radiator heat is passing over the sensor.

The real problem that no one else has bothered to mention is that its 33 degrees! The truck is trying to "think warm!"

Mine just did the same thing yesterday, was 44 out and display said 55. Drove about a mile down the road and finally started reading correctly, without the plow on. I seem to remember my 02 Sierra doing the same thing.
