Ignition Wire Woes.....

So I have a Kenwood radio that I am setting up to install in my Silverado, and I guess there is a ignition wire I need to tap into to power the head unit. I have been using the search button and have found quite a bit of information but what I have not found is where the hell this wire atatches!

 

I have also read that the wire can be ran from the fuse box as well, but where does this attach? on the backside?

 

I am sorry if these questions seem simple, but I am rather new to this stuff and would really apreciate an explanation of where and how this attaches.

 

I have a 07 silverado that is actually a 06 body style, there is no OnStar or Bose....

I can't remember which fuse it was but you get a fuse tap or add a circuit type connector and with a voltage meter find out which fuse in the drivers side fuse panel is accessory controlled and tap into it.

Which wire are you trying to hook up? the yellow constant or red switched? Either way they should both be in the old stock radio harness
