No More Drl

I got tired of turning off my day time running light every time I got in truck. So I looked in fuse box under Hood and saw that #31 was drl. So pulled it out no more drl. Auto everythding still works just no drl.

Maybe.........he doesn't want to be one of those people who ride around with one of the bulbs burned out and don't know it.

Because I don't like them on during daylight. Plus it saves the life of the bulb and looks better. If u can see a big ass truck you don't need to be on the roads.

I wish these trucks had a switch like my 03. It had a tiny LED that was amber when DRLs were on but green when lights were on. It would be especially nice since the auto function on this truck seems less sensitive.

When someone cannot see your dark truck at dusk and hits you head on you will wish you had left them on. It is a proven fact that headlight on or DRL's save lives (and maybe yours) and some states require motorests to have there lights on during the day. Save your lift and someone elses.

So how come ALL new vehicles don't come with them? Maybe we should get our government representatives to make them mandatory.

I've been hit twice from people that didn't see me. I was in a 70 foot tractor trailer.

in canada were ahead of you guys---drl are required on all vehicles with a manufacture date of 1990(about) or later... even if we import a vehicle we have to outfit the vehicle with drl....

Really? You have a truck with (judging by your sig pic) driving lights and what looks like aftermarket lights added, and you don't like your DRLs on during daylight and "it looks better"?? What are you saving the bulb life for if you disable them? Just a little hint, when the road is wet and you are beside a semi driving in the road spray, if you don't have your lights on, you are invisible to the driver. Doesn't matter how big your vehicle is.

Theres so many vehicles out rhere that dont come with drl. Whats the big deal..... Im pretty sure his am ers are still on. I may be wrong about that but idk

The new Tundra's don't have auto lights. (Turn off when you turn the truck off or DRL) and my GF's father hates that. I've jumped him twice now.

hm i think it looks better with the drl personally... hell 90 percent of the time i turn my fogs on too
