Aftermarket Gps And Sirius Antenna Placement

Recommended Posts

I was curious if anyone has any suggestions for hiding aftermarket gps and sirius antennas on a 2008 1500 sierra. I just upgrade to a DVD/Nav system but don't want the aftermarket antennas on the roof of my truck and was looking for options to hide the antennas either in the cab or outside. If someone has done this information and pictures would be helpful.

Thanks

Installed my 2 antennas in ths factory location under the dash piece right under the windshield. I used the metal piece that came with the Kenwood DNX9960 nav and used doublesided tape under the panel and ran both antennas there. Looks great, no additional antennas on the truck and works great to.

you can get an adapter at TSS Radio. I will wait for your new thread because it may be along the lines of a question I have had regarding this antenna for a while....

On my last truck, I ran the Sirius antenna through the hi mount brake light, and put it just out of sight on the roof. the wire ran along headliner down to the sill plate and up the rhs of the kick panel to the radio. I used a dull plastic trim bar to push the wire in to these areas
