Bluetooth Pairing

Has anyone tried to pair the new HTC Thunderbolt on Verizon's network to their GM bluetooth system? Just curious if it has issues like the iPhone 4 now offered by Verizon but needing an iOS update from Apple before it will work on the GM vehicles. I called Apple today and they could not provide any update as to when the phone would be updated to work with GM bluetooth. Apparently the iPhone on AT&T work great, it's just with the iPhone on Verizon's network that won't work properly. Thanks Apple.

HTC is using the Android OS right? it's the same as the current Droid X (latest update) Android OS so it shouldn't be an issue.

I believe the Thunderbolt is using the Gingerbread based Andriod OS so it will be different than the X. Can't say for 100% though as that is just what I read. My X pairs fine on all GM bt applications but it only has the 2.2.1 OS.

The thunderbolt is still on Froyo (2.2.1 - I just looked at my thunderbolt to verify) and should pair up fine.

I paired a friends Thunderbolt today after work and tested it with the Bluetooth system and it worked fine.
