Small Mods..custom Dyno Tuned Or Handheld Programmer?

I've been told a custom dyno tune is going to be best because every truck is diffrent and u can also change it to fit your application but..just say for a small cam (212/216),intake,dual electric fans,long tubes and straight pipes...custom tunee? Or other? Thanks

You'll NEED a custom tune with a cam, if you want it running right, no handheld will do that, except maybe the diablo if you had a custom tune made for it and uploaded to it. Of course, the severity of needing a tune will vary much on your cam choice.

Alright thanks again man,buddy of mine just told me about a nice shop that jus does work on chevrolets and specializes in ls motors,tunes all the way up to fully built race motors..thanks again u have been real helpful

Depends if you want tranny tuning too and if they can do that, wouldnt hurt to send and email to blackbear and see if they can work with you with their autocal
