Aftermarket flares for late model trucks

I think the late model factory flares are a bit too square/flat, but I think the Z71's are different but can't say for sure.  Anyway, I have seen some aftermarket flares that look pretty good, they seem to be more rounded/larger.  Of course I've seen the many different ones in the catalogs but am hoping some of y'all may have some better pix.

I have an 01 Tahoe and so would prefer to see some pix of aftermarket flares on that platform but it really doesn't matter (especially for the fronts).

These are not bigger than the stock flares, but Bushwacker makes some street flares that follow the contour of the fender well.  Here they are on my '99.

Closer views of my flares

Here's a link to Bushwacker's site.  You can look up your specific vehicle and see how they look.  They show then are grey so they show up good, but they are black like mine.  They are also paintable.  Bushwacker

I think Warn makes some that are a little more rounded than the factory ones, but just as big.

I have the same Bushwacker flares on my Tahoe.  I got them primarily to keep car doors from dinging the wheelwells.  I left mine factory black to go with the black bodyside moulding and black bumper trim, door handles etc.

They fit extremely well but are a bit tough to install on the Tahoe rear door.

I'll see if I can find some pics somewhere.

I've got some bushwacker flares, can't remember the model, but they are wider than the factory flares by about an inch and also slightly taller.  I painted mine w/ spray on bedliner to give them a more textured look and shine.

Mine are made by Warn. They look a lot like the factory flares to me, but they really fit the contours of the body well. By the way MOUNTAINEER... I really dig that red bowtie!

Picking up a used set for my '99 z71.  I think they are factory, well at least they look that way.  Two questions, do they use double sided sticky tape at the tops?  I put them up against my truck and they come with bolts to bolt them in but was wondering if I was going to need tape.  Also what did you all pay for yours?  I was looking at $100 for all four used.

WOW a hundred clams for four sounds really good to me. I would use a 1/4 inch 3M emblem tape on the outer edges. If I remember right, there is a flat spot on the back for the adhesive tape on the flares. You may have to peel the original tape off if they are used.

Thanks, same here.  :)

I guess it was another brand of fender flares I was thinking of.
