Painting Black Plastic Front Air Deflector

Hi,

 

I have a brown 2007 New Body style LTZ. I do not like the way the colour is broken up around the bumper of my truck. Can the black plastic "front air Deflector" that the tow hooks come through be painted brown like the rest of my truck? Has anyone else done this?

Yes you can paint all the plastic on your truck if you wanted. Mirrors, tailgate handle, spoiler, grille

 

Either you sand the plastic, then primer and paint

or

You use filler primer then paint.

 

Most people go to a body shop for this or you can tackle it yourself.
