Wasn't it in 95 and 96 when Chevy won it back to back with the Blazer and then the Tahoe (before they split up Truck and SUV awards).

 

Now in 99 with the Silverado, 01 with the HD's, 01 with the Envoy, and now '02 with the Avalanche.

 

Looks like the "mayor of dorkville" got voted out.
