New Truck?s

Ok sold my commuter car because it was time

I have a 2002 GMT800 RCSB 4wd (5.3)good truck good gas mileage 20ish MPG mostly highway

so the question is how are the new silverados/sierras doing with the AFM and the 5.3 for mileage and general issues? Thinking of a new GMT900 RCLB 4x4 wish I could get a short bed. I am thinking if I am going to go for payments maybe a new Truck with my trade and some cash down I should be able to have same payment as keeping my truck and buying a new car less trading my truck. New car will probably be a cruze

I drive 40 miles to work each way almost all highway. I use cruse and drive conservatively

The GMT-900's are leaps over the GMT-800's. JMO but I've owned both and like the GMT-900 better.

Since your mainly going for a commuter, go for the 3.08 gears if you can.

Most of us have 3.42s and the mileage is still superb.

You will love the GMT-900. I've had literally all of the generations of GM trucks since 1964 and the 900 is by far the greatest.
