Superchips Code Reader/tuner

I wasn't sure if this was the right forum to post this, but since its for a 02 tahoe and a 06 sierra I figure I can't be that wrong.

I'm looking for a diagnostic tool (code reader) that could also be used as a tuner. Does anyone have any experience using Superchips Flashpaq tuner or similar system? It looks like it would do everything I'm looking for.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks!

I have Superchips programmer for my 99 GMC Sierra. It would be the same programer that you would need. It is Superchips 2815. I bought mine used on ebay for $90. I love it. It has code reading, can read real time data on some things, and has 5 preset progamings. 87 octance tune, Tow, Performance, Stock with options, and Stock. From what I have read the 87 tune does not increase HP but it does clean up shifting some, that is what I use until the price of gas comes down a bit. I also have some taller 285/75/16 tires and I can adjust the tire size with the programmer to help the shift points even more. I dont think if buy it new you will be as happy with it because in the 300-400 dollar range you probably will notice some change but will take a while to earn that back. But if you can find one used that is not vin locked, as I did, you will be very happy. Just keep an eye on ebay or on the sale/wanted items on this website. If you can get a good deal or are comforatable with the price I say go for it.

After reading some thread, Some one said, H22a not fit with P30, is that true, since P30 do not have IAB and TCu.. Are H22a JDM engine have IAB and any effect if i used P30? Some said P28 more compatible for H22a.. Hmmm
