Question Re: Autocal Flash Process

I have a question concerning the precise process of flashing my Black Bear ECM and TCM tune files to my truck using the AutoCal.

As soon as the AutoCal completes the tune file flashing process, the following sequence of events occurs with a couple of seconds:

1. The display on the AutoCal reads "Ignition Off NOW" and my truck's dashboard lights turn off;

2. Just a second or two later, the dashboard lights "cycle" and turn back on.

Do I turn off the ignition and remove the key immediately when the AutoCal changes to "Ignition Off NOW" and my dashboard lights turn off, i.e., before the dashboard lights cycle and come back on? Or do I wait 1-2 seconds until the dashboard lights cycle and come back on to turn off my ignition and remove the key? In other words, do I turn off my ignition and remove the key at the conclusion of step 1 or step 2 above (which occur within just a couple seconds of one another)?

Perhaps it makes no difference, but I'm just curious what the correct procedure is.

Thanks.

Im never starring at the screen so I always have waited awhile before I turn the key off. You should just wait for it then turn the key off.
