I usually do a good job with my oil change. Today though, I poured 2oz more then I should. Makes me worry, because my engine is a little old. This wont hurt my oil pump or blow anything? Just need some peace of mind. I'm gonna drive it like a 100 year old grandma for a while, hoping it will burn the excess oil. :uhoh:

You can drain out the 2 oz the same way you drained all the old oil FYI

DERP, IDK why the hell I didn't think I could do that. I over look simple solutions. :uhoh:

I wouldn't bother draining it.

Half the guys I know throw a full extra quart in their engine before tracking their cars (twisties, not straight track).

2oz ??? You are worried about 2oz :uhoh:

Yeah, if you knew me you wouldnt be surprised lol. I'm really OCD when it comes to perfection and a hypochondriac when it comes to my truck and mountain bike. It's terrible, sometimes. Hey at least my house is always clean lol :dunno:

Instead of draining the oil just remove the oil filter, at least 2oz will spill out when you take it off or pour a little out of the filter. Clean it up and replace it then check your oil level.
