09 Suburban Dic Switch Upgrade

I have an 09' Suburban LT, and I would like to know if anyone has installed the driver information center switch? Is this possible? I know you have to replace the whole trim but about how much does it cost to make the upgrade. I really want to install it since I'm taking a long road trip next month.

Should be the same, whether you swap out the dash panel, or just install the switch in your existing panel after you make the cut-out for it.

Yeah, I keep seeing about the upgrades on the Silverado with the other kind of dashboard, but I haven't seen any posts about doing upgrades on the dash similar to the Suburban or Avalanche anybody have any pics of the upgrade?

if I remember correctly, somebody DID do the DIC Upgrade to a Truck with the Premium Dash!

I just want to know if someone was able to do the upgrade, and if it was simple to replace the trim.

Just glancing at a parts source, the display switch was $17, or so, and the trim panel was $59, if you needed that.

Ok, so I tried to remove the panel from the Suburban but before I order the parts I just want to be 100% sure if the plug in the picture is the one required for the DIC Switch... Please let me know.

I see know, they are the same, thank you so much for the info, now I will focus on ordering the parts and install them. I will post after the installation.
