New Truck = Saturday

I should be able to pick it up Saturday .....

Let the mods begin........

2011 GMC All Terrain , Z71 , black/black , 3.42 gears and all the other stuff. Yes I am going with power rear slider .

My first mod is to remove the road scraping air dam ....lol.

Then I have to figure out how to mod my fog lights . I need light as I live out in the country and the factory bulbs ain't gonna cut it. Any ideas on that would be appreciated . I did find a thread by big daddy (or something like that) but its old . Anyone have any new ideas ??????

Wednesday it goes in for Line X (over the rail) bed liner .

Window tint , bed cover , level kit , rims and 285's , ect......

This truck is going to burn a hole in my wallet .

I completed the Daddy 9005 Silverstar foglight mod the Saturday I picked up my truck from the dealer in late '07. Has worked perfectly ever since and I've been nothing but pleased.

I got 5k HIDS 55w output. I got them due to my traveling ( Oil Field ) They do wonders for me. Some might disagree on that. Fogs and Low cost me 95 bucks with shipping.... www.vvme.com some times you can find better deals at flea markets or audio stores locally. Good Luck!

PIAA selis a mounting kit, PIAA 30370 Lamp Mounting Kit.

Just got mine yesterday. was on closeout on Amazon, under $18 with shipping.

These allow you to mount some 540s in the fog light holes.

I had them on the truck I just traded with the 540 fog lights.

I have the 540 driving lights to put in my new truck.

I have a 07 Silverado, 09 Tahoe, and now an 09 Sierra Denali, and the Denali has the worst light output of them all.

I also have 55w 5k HID's, mine are just from DDM and i love them! They have a fog kit too if you really want it but I'd start with the lows first, they are truly amazing. another good quick mod is a leveling kit. Amazing in the difference it makes just dont forget the alignment.

Well I got it home Saturday night . Ive been driving ever since. I came from a 2011 Toyota which was extremely uncomfortable for me to drive. Anyway Im lovin the new truck , already pulled off my front snow plow ....lol lower valance , so the mods have already started.

I have the stuff to re-do my fogs per the right up on here , but going to check into the full PAA replacement kit that was mentioned.
