Finally New Wheels & Tires

After much saving and deliberation I finally decided on a set of 18x9x18 XD Monsters & 285/65-18 Terra Grapplers after I installed my 2" RC Level. Below are before and after pics:

I debated on 305/60-18 TG's but I'm glad I went with the 285's. There is about 1/2" clearance both ways at full lock:

 

Next I'll tint out the front windows and I think I'll be good

I'm not a big fan of Black wheels but the do look pretty good on the Taupe / Storm gray trucks.

 

Now with all your black accessories I would consider making your steps black too.

Yeah if it wasn't for my 7 yr old daughter I wouldn't even have steps

I may get a set of Go Rhino Dominator II in black later on.

I have the factory steps on mine, just ordered a lift, wheels and tires. I am sure when I post pics of the finished truck I will hear about the steps and front air dam. I like them both so they will stay, that's part of who we are and what we like. I don't believe in a vanilla world.... But no reason not to get along with everyone!

 

The more I look at it with the back bumper the steps do tie in.

Looks damn good. 1.25-1.50 bl would make it look even better. Also I would sell those steps and get some black gorhino or nfabs.

The wheels and tires look good man. I like the fact that theyre not 22"s or whatever and the black looks good with the trucks color.

Truck looks good man, Planning on using the same rims with trail grapplers and 4.5" of lift. Just so you know I am selling a 1.25" RC BL and would sell it for $140 shipped free. Think about it I think another little bit of lift would be perfect. IMO.

Is that why the clearance is so tight because of the 18mm offset ?
