Newbie!

Hello all, I just thought I would introduce myself and my truck which I just purchased from the local Ford Dealer after trading in my piece of crap 95 Explorer which I had only owned for 2 months..it was in the shop more than on the road. I have owned GM trucks before but wanted to give the SUV market a try....what a frigin mistake....anyway.

I now and happily have a 1995 GMC Z71-red, 4x4, ext-cab, short box, 5.7 TBI, 3.73 locker, automatic. I live in southern Ontario and cant wait for the first snowfall.

hey good choice on going back to a pickup

.. even better a gm pickup and the best of all you got the best body style that gm ever had on a fullsize truck  :thumb:

Thanks, I totally agree. I may be asking a bunch of questions in the coming weeks. I need to learn as much as I can about my Z71.

Definately a good truck...those body styles will be around forever like the 70's 80's Chevys.  So the 90's will be too.  But I'm not yet 100% on the new body style I question some of their build quality.  Nice truck and good choice going back to a pickup truck.
