Mysterious Coolant Leak

Ok so i have a 2001 silverado 1500 non HD and there is coolant coming from the A/C water drain and there is steam, assuming its coolant vapor, coming from the center vent.

 

Im pretty sure this means heater core replacement but the carpet in my truck isnt damp on the passenger side and the coolant is constantly dripping out.

 

Any help or insight would be helpful.

In the short term, you could by-pass the heater core until you can get to it. Just disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses under the hood. Put a piece of pipe between the 2 hoses and clamp them.
