Gmt900 Front Diff Drain Plug Bolt

I changed my front diff fluid today and think I might have ruined the plastic washer that is on the drain plug bolt. I might have over-tightened the bolt and started to squeeze the washer out the sides and compromised the washer. Would somebody be able to get a picture of theirs while on the truck? I want to see if mine has been squeezed out more than it should be.

 

If I have over-tightened it, should I replace the plastic washer or just leave it be? I figured I could pick one up at Autozone or something? It wasn't on there very tight to begin with either.

I would think you would have to wrench it on pretty good to over tighten it. There is some plastic showing on my 02's front plug. I don't have any pictures of it. Keep an eye on it and if it starts to leak then you can just replace it. It isn't under any pressure so you should be ok.
