When Do You See Issues?

My 2009 Sierra with the 5.3L engine with AFM has just passed the 31000 mile mark. I have yet to notice any type of trouble with AFM or with oil loss. When do most of you see the oil consumption take off?

I wouldn't worry about it.. You only read about the small percentage that do have trouble and not the millions that don't

I didn't pin mine down until about 30k. Of course it was probabkly doing it a lot eaerly as the dealership changed the oil the first few times.

 

I first saw the level at least a quart low when I went to change the oil and them bam the low oil light comes on during a road trip. On the interstate it stated buring a good half qt ever 600 miles. that was enough to get it re-ringed. Don't have enough miles or a long trip under my belt yet to see if it worked though.
