1997 Silverado A/c Actuator

I replaced the door blend actuator on my 1997 Silverado....the problem is when i click the a/c button in the control module the air goes to the floor. i tried disconnecting the battery for more than 2 hours and still does the same thing. Is there any solution to this problem? any help or ideas would be highly appreciated...
